"Punzel"

At least 100 times a day we have these little conversations with Scarlet.

"Punzel, Puuunzel, Tangle, Peas? Peeeeeeeas!!"

or maybe a slight variation of..

"Punzel, Horsey? Show? Peas?"

Or, there's my personal favorite..

"Dance, Dance, Punzel! HORSEY!"

Scarlet officially has her first favorite show in the whole world. It ranks right up there next to her blanky, and her bear. In fact, put her in her favorite chair, with blankey, bear, that show, and a sippy of "coco"milk and it's an automatic Mom Of The Year Award for me!! Well.. at least to Scarlet. She is in heaven when that show is on. LOVES it! From the Disney Castle that magically appears in the beginning to the end of the animated credits you can't wipe that enchanted grin off her face, or get her to talk to you, or look at you, or even acknowledge your presents because she is hooked.

She gets excited when any of the big parts or songs are coming up, she'll recite some of the words at the same time -or before- the characters do, and when that horse comes on the screen, well, that's when we get a glimpse of how truly happy this little girl can be.

I don't know how healthy it is for a 16 month old to love watching a show as much as she does, but when you have cleaning, and cooking, and basic getting ready to be done, what better distraction is there? Especially one that makes her so happy. That's the only thing she ever wants to watch, so even though it still may be a little much, we usually watch it, (you know, stopping and starting it where we left off) once the whole way through a day. Though believe me, she would watch it every waking moment if she could. And, honestly, even after the 1 billionth time, I still find myself just as glued at the end as she is, ignoring the oven beeping dinner is ready to watch the king and queen embrace their beautiful little princess they hadn't had for 18 years, while I embrace my beautiful little baby with tears welling up in my eyes.. pathetic I know.. but I just LOVE it.. and then the best part... we DANCE! Mandy Moore can belt a pretty fun tune that luckily, never gets old, because even when the show is over Scarlet wants to hear the song over and over while she dances to it in the kitchen. Cutest. Thing. EVER!

Oh Tangled.. it might be an unhealthy relationship.. but how we love you!!
Good Morning Rapunzel!!

Tangled is even fun with cousins!!
The many views of intrigue.

Tangled Heaven.
