Brandon had a LOT of fun golfing this summer, trying to make it out once a week. He was also really patient this summer and tried to teach me how to golf!!

Harry Potter Movie 6 was released this year!! Man, if you haven't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it. It was so good, and we had a blast hanging out at the Jordan Common's version of Hogwarts before the movie started.
We first got sorted into our houses.

We also celebrated our 2nd anniversary this year!!! CRAZY!!! It was my turn to plan and I decided we really needed to have an adventure, and since I'm too chicken to really have us go sky diving I decided to have us do the simulated version and we went to iFly. Sadly we only have video of that, so hopefully we'll get that posted one day, it was a complete BLAST!!! Hopefully we'll get brave and one day do the real thing. Maybe we can join Brandon's sister Dari when she goes again. She went a couple weeks ago and had so much fun! Wow!! She's so brave!! :)
After we did the iFly we went down to the FlowRider!! Which is simulated surfing!

After biffing it pretty hard...quite a few times...haha!! We decided to stick to the boogy boarding. Definitely less traumatizing wipe-outs, which made it quite a bit funner! :)

I'm SO happy Brandon and I found each other!! We've had SUCH a fun and wonderful 2 years!! I can't wait for all the awesome adventures we have to come. :)
We had a lot of fun going up to the cabin this summer. We just couldn't seem to stay away! On one of our trips we noticed there was going to be a demolition derby!! I've never been to one and Brandon said that we HAD to go! I'm SO glad we did, it was insane!!!! Mud flying everywhere, and all the smoke and just crashing!! It was totally intense!!

It went late into the night! It was crazy to see those cars go on only 3 wheels, or have tons of smoke billowing out of the engine and sparks flying...sheesh so cool!!
We were also really lucky to have a friend from China come and visit this summer!! Kim was an older student at my first school in Wuhan who wasn't an ILP student but we became quick friends with her and another girl Sonia. She came out to America on a work abroad program. She was working at a Wendy's in Wyoming and was able to come to Utah before her big trip home to China.

The Saturday before she left a bunch of people from our ILP group went to Temple Square and showed her around, she was so excited to get a Book of Mormon and couldn't believe it was free!! :) We then went to lunch at Olive Garden and shopped around at Gateway. It was the best Gateway experience ever! Even Brandon had fun! :) Kim taught him how to say prices in Chinese and even taught him how to count to 1,000! it was a VERY eventful day! And it was so fun to have Brandon meet a little of my China experience! Kim is SUCH an awesome and funny girl we miss her SO much already.
My sister and her family moved to Washington in July so Jon could go to law school. Even though we are all SO proud and excited for them, we miss them like CRAZY!!! So my mom and I decided we couldn't stand not seeing them any longer and decided to take a road-trip to go visit them! It was a blast! We made delicious food and saw the fun area where they live. Amy and I even got to go do a session in the Spokane Temple! It was fantastic!

Speaking of Abbie, even though it'd only been a few months I couldn't believe how much bigger she had gotten. She's still not old enough to really talk but she's got an amazing personality and it was SO much fun to see that!! I'm SO excited to see them when they come to visit in December. They're all just so wonderful.

We also went to an apple orchard and pick really yummy apples. We also went home and made a real homemade apple pie!! Man..it was just SUCH an awesome trip. I'm glad we got the opportunity to go visit!!
Another fun thing that happened this year was Brandon and I became an aunt and uncle again. Brandon's brother and sister-in-law, Luke and Marie, had a cute little boy in October. Brody's been SUCH a fun addition to the family, and as you can see Brand's mom has quickly enjoyed the roll of Grandma. :)

So as you can see we've had QUITE a year with even more fun things happening. I left my job at L-3 to finally go to cosmetology school!! We've been having wonderful Saturday's full of BYU games and BBQ's. YW's and YM's is definitely keeping us very busy, and we're loving the tivo and all the fun show's we've been recording. Like Glee, The Office, Community, and House, the Hills, The Biggest Loser, and Survivor...I know it sounds like we need a life. But it's been SO much fun, neither of us would have it any other way. :)
Hopefully we'll be better at updating this...we love seeing all your posts and keeping updated with you and your fun adventures.

We loved having you here!!! We miss you too. I didn't know that you did the skydiving and surfing simulators! We obviously need to talk more.

Wow you have had a fun year!! I had no idea you guys went to a demolition derby! Totally jealous! Loved seeing the pics from your anniversary, that looks so fun! I am so glad that the puking pumpkin won a prize! And I can't wait to be your model in december!!! :) You are going to be great!
Oh Stacey, I cannot BELIEVE you were in Spokane and I didn't know about it! I live TEN MINUTES from there!!
